Hi, I'm Bonnie, and welcome to my sewing world!
As a professional seamstress, I specialize in bridal
alterations, helping brides feel confident and comfortable
on one of the most important days of their lives.
From simple adjustments to detailed custom work,
I take great care in ensuring every gown fits beautifully-
because the perfect fit makes all the difference.
Alongside my alteration work, I’m also a passionate sewing instructor. Through Little Hart Sewing School, I teach both kids and adults the fundamentals of sewing in a fun and supportive environment. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing my students’ faces light up when they complete their very first project-it truly fills my heart.
The name Little Hart Designs is especially meaningful to me. It’s a nod to my last name, Hart, but also represents the heart and care that goes into everything I create, teach, and tailor.
In addition to teaching and alterations, I also enjoy designing and creating custom bags, wallets, and accessories. Each piece is handcrafted with attention to detail and a love for creativity, and you can find a selection of my work in my online shop.

From grad and prom dresses to suits, dress shirts, and everything in between, I offer professional alterations to ensure the perfect fit. With over 30 years of sewing experience, I take pride in tailoring each piece with precision and care so you can look and feel your best for any special occasion.
Sewing School
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build your skills, I offer a variety of sewing classes for all ages. From adult classes like learning your machine and fun project-based workshops, to after-school clubs for kids and teens, there’s something for everyone. I also host sewing birthday parties for a creative and memorable experience.
Fabric Store
I’ve created my fabric store to be a place where creativity feels easy and accessible. You’ll find a variety of fabrics, notions, and sewing essentials for everything from beginner projects to more advanced designs.
